Oh Yes It Is….!

Stage 27’s pantomime last year was a sell-out success and great fun for all the family. And we are sure that it will be just as good this year with such a dedicated team of local thespians! £6 each or £19 for a Family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) – what a bargain. Birmingham Cycle Revolution – Hatchford Brook cycleway consultation

B26 Community

Birmingham Cycling Revolution 3

Yesterday I received an e-mail from Councillor Mike Ward regarding a proposed new cycle pathway through Sheldon Country Park. I know this will be music to the ears of Mike Smith from Hatchford Brook WatersideCare Group, he has been pressurizing Birmingham City Council for a cycle path for some time. (Lol Thurstan. Editor & Publisher of B26)

Birmingham City Council is proposing to install a shared cycleway through Sheldon Country Park along the Hatchford Brook. The route will go from the existing airport viewing path south along the Hatchford Brook towards Mapledene Primary School, to the Coventry Road, finishing at the boundary with Solihull Council. How budget cuts by BCC could affect Sheldon Country Park

B26 Community

Dear Friends,

We know filling out the survey about the proposed cuts to the Park Keepers and Rangers is not easy.

B26 is back for 2017

B26 Community

B26 Community (2)

You are all probably feeling a bit depressed now that most of you are back at work after the Christmas and New Year break. You may be glad in some ways that the relatives have all gone back home and you can once again have your home back. However, what day is it? I’ve totally lost the plot. We had a discussion on Sunday night (New Years Day), whether Monday was a bank Holiday or not, nobody was very sure whether it was or not. Are well… anyone for a turkey sandwich?

Now that B26 is back after the festive break, I will endeavour to bring you all the the local news and more, plus information on what is happening across our region. There are lots of issues to get our teeth into in 2017, so please continue to support B26.
