After a very cold spring night, I awoke to a lovely sunny fresh Saturday morning. Today was the garden party to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Sheldon Library and B26 was going along to sample what the friends group had to offer.
The sun was still shining when I arrived, there were lots of fund raising display tables of homemade jams, flower stalls, bric a brac, cuddly toys and lots more for everyone to enjoy. Two of our local Sheldon Councillors, Paul Tilsley and Sue Anderson were also there to support The Friends Of Sheldon Library anniversary of when the library opened in 1956.
