The Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Cllr Shafique Shah, will officially open the Christmas Markets on the following dates and times:
Thursday, 13 November at 5.30pm – Frankfurt Market, Victoria Square
Saturday, 15 November at midday – Craft Market, Ice Rink and Big Wheel, Centenary Square
Consisting of both the Frankfurt Christmas Market and the Christmas Craft Market, the Birmingham Christmas Markets offer visitors the chance to sample an array of delicacies and delights from around the world.
Open between 10am and 9pm every day until Monday, 22 December, the markets span approximately a mile through the city centre, including Victoria, Chamberlain and Centenary Squares, as well as New Street and Centenary Way. Last year’s event had almost 200 stalls, attracting nearly five million visitors from all over the country and beyond.
