Be involved

If you would like to be involved in your community Yardley District’s four Housing Liaison Boards are looking for new members, particularly Council Tenants and Leaseholders. Each of the four Wards in Yardley has a Housing Liaison Board (HLB) : Acock’s Green, Sheldon, South Yardley and Stechford and Yardley North. At a HLB you have the opportunity to meet with other tenants and leaseholders, plus the Housing Officer, local Councilors and the Police and to work with them on improving your neighbourhood. Each HLB has a budget for local improvements and the HLB can decide where to spend that budget.
